ADM supports both premade pouch formats including doy pouches and quad seal bags and rewind film solutions using Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machines, allowing producers to select packaging that suits retail, wholesale, or bulk distribution.
Engineered and built in Australia, the ADM-XD20 and ADM-DPX3 are purpose-built for large, demanding premade bags. Compact and highly automated, they manage wide bag openings, high fill rates, and challenging product flow. These systems handle premade pouches up to 550 mm wide and 800 mm long, with dual-head weighing delivering 15–40 litres per fill, including multiple-dump filling.
For larger flat-film applications, the ADM-XL Series VFFS accommodates bag widths up to 800 mm and lengths up to 1200 mm, making it ideal for bulk gardening and agricultural products.
ADM also offers customisation options such as dust extraction, product settling, blockage detection, and printing, supported by full mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic documentation. With in-house engineering and integration of existing equipment, ADM delivers scalable solutions that improve efficiency, increase productivity, and reduce operating costs.
ADM-XL Series VFFS
The ADM-XL Series is designed, engineered, and built in Australia at out Thomastown (VIC) facility, it’s our industrial-scale Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) line-engineered to serve heavy-duty packaging applications with unmatched consistency and durability.
Where models like the C and i Series focus on speed and precision for lighter formats, the XL Series is designed to handle extra-large and high-weight bagging tasks. Its robust frame and intermittent motion sealing provide the structural strength and seal integrity needed for bulk animal feeds, seeds, fertilisers, soils, and gardening supplies.
Embedded at the core of turnkey packaging systems, the XL Series seamlessly aligns with heavy-capacity feeders, weighers, conveyors, inspection stations, and palletisers. The result is a streamlined, high-throughput workflow delivering strength, reliability, and unwavering performance for even the most demanding volume requirements.
Like the rest of the ADM VFFS line, the XL Series is built locally, offering full adaptability to bag size, product density, and layout constraints-ensuring every machine meets global standards with responsive Australian engineering and support.
ADM-DPX3 Large pouch filler
The ADM-DPX3 Series is an Australian-engineered inline pouch filling and sealing platform designed to handle large, heavy, and demanding premade bags commonly used in agriculture and gardening markets. It automatically opens, fills, and seals a wide range of pouch formats, including flat pouches, doy-style bags, box-bottom and gusseted bags, sachets, and specialty closures such as rippa-zipper and pull-tab formats.
Built for simplicity, durability, and repeatable performance, the DPX3 Series supports fast changeovers between pack sizes and bag styles—allowing producers to run multiple product formats on a single machine with minimal downtime. This flexibility is particularly valuable for agricultural manufacturers supplying retail, wholesale, and bulk channels.
Engineered specifically for large pack applications, the ADM-DPX3 is capable of filling bags up to 25 kg or 75 litres, making it well suited to potting mixes, composts, fertilisers, seeds, and other bulk agricultural products. Integrated into a complete ADM packaging line, the DPX3 helps producers reduce manual handling, improve consistency, and scale production with confidence.
